HP Photosmart Premium All-in-One Printer (CD055A#ABA) Reviews
My old HP 2500 series all-in-one became obsolete when I moved to Windows 7 - the scanner no longer worked at all - so I was forced to upgrade (thanks a lot HP). I like the HP C309g more than I expected (I was in a sour mood when I had to buy it). All the features actually work although it took some work to figure them out. At first I thought the scanner didn't work but I found a couple work-a-round's solved SOME of the problems. I couldn't and can't get TWAIN to work period so I use Webscan on the unit or I've scanned to an SD card to capture images/documents. With those answers I can't adjust the scanner settings so I'm stuck on default. Oh well, we are dealing with an HP after all.br /br /The printer is fine. I tried the draft mode on print quality but the unit worked so fast and furious that I thought I'd have to bolt it down to keep it in place. Automatic print quality setting was the answer. For some reason one-side-only printing was the default setting on a duplex printer??? That had to be changed. I consider it just the usual annoyances from choosing an HP product.br /br /Photo prints are awesome. And I like that I can scan a document as a pdf. It doesn't seem to be the ink hog I've heard although I don't doubt HP will get lots of my money from buying cartridges. All in all I'm satisfied if not thrilled.

Nice Printer - explorer -
After researching many printers, reading the majority of the printer reviews and searching for the best price, I went with the HP Photosmart Premium. I also was attacted to the printer because it supports bluetooth and USB connections. Not sure how much I will use these, but would rather have them for when that time occurs. Loading the HP software was very straight forward and simple to perform... however it did take a bit of time. The wireless configuration set-up was also simple. Print quality is very good (especially when I use the 4X6 gloss paper to print photos). The touch screen looks good and has excellent visibility and is very simple to use as you can easy to scroll through the windows and select the options. As other reviewers have indicated, the printer does have a few rattles with moving parts (more so than my old Epson printer) during and after the print is complete. br /br /Overall, great product that prints clean documents and has excellent color match for photos. I really like being able to connect to multiple PCs with the wireless connectivity. It is also cosmetically appealing (doesn't look like a big clunky printer) with it's tight footprint and gloss black finish.
